There are two types of nouns:

Common nouns

Common nouns are names of  general people, animals, things or ideas.

They do not start with capital letter.

Example: teachers, classroom, table

Proper nouns

Proper nouns are the special names of people, animals, places or things.The special name refers to a particular person, place or thing. 

Proper nouns start with capital letters.

Example : Mdm Fadilah, Miss Lye, Beacon Primary School, Bukit Panjang

During the Orientation Week, the school planned various activities to quickly help your child settle into the school environment and bond with their teachers, classmates and school mates.
