Hi, pupils.

You have seen how solar panels can power a robot and even light up a LED (Light Emitting Diode) bulb in school this year. Solar panels are useful as they can generate electricity from the sunlight and it causes less pollution.

In Switzerland, Palmer Louis aims to go round the world on a solar taxi (a taxi powered by solar panels). He has already visited almost 40 countries on his eco-friendly solar taxi. It has even visited Singapore in March this year. You can view some of the pictures @ the Solar Taxi Blog.
